The Āsā scarves are handwoven by rural Indian women blending 100% pure Eri and Mulberry silks. Eco-printed using local flowers and leaves with organic dyes like lac, turmeric and indigo, each stole boasts a unique design crafted through heat and pressure. Mulberry silk is smooth and lustrous, while Eri is breathable and isothermal. Both silks age gracefully, growing softer and smoother with time.
FEATURES
The Asa scarves blend 100% pure Eri and Mulberry silk, handwoven by women artisans in rural India. Eco-printed with leaves and flowers native to the region, we use organic dyes from plant-based sources like lac, turmeric, indigo, and charcoal. Each stole is uniquely designed, created by collecting fresh leaves and flowers every morning and eco-printing using heat and pressure. Mulberry silk offers an exceptionally smooth texture and sheen, while Eri silk provides breathability and isothermal qualities, maintaining a constant temperature. Lightweight and high-tensile, both silk types age gracefully, becoming softer and smoother over time.
The Asa scarves belong to a limited edition collection. Designs may vary slightly from those shown in the images due to the entirely manual production process.
