This Eri silk stole, handspun and handwoven by rural women in Assam, features culturally significant Muga motifs. Eri silk is soft, durable, and maintains a constant body temperature, making it ideal for every season. Muga, known for its golden sheen, is regarded as royal silk in South-East Asia. Both silks age gracefully, becoming softer over time. The stole is dyed using indigo and sappan.

The woven details at both ends of the stole were so pretty. Also, the colour was so unique. We were specifically looking for a purple stole and Dzukou was the destination. Also, the order process was so hassle free.
